FC Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Game at Renovated Camp Nou over the weekend

Barça revealed their first game will take place at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. They will welcome the Bilbao team in La Liga 30 months since relocating for construction to commence.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans can be present as per the current authorization. Once fully finished, it will accommodate over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. The club said recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.

Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout inside the stadium earlier this month. The club said they were hoping for permission from Uefa for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht next month in the renovated venue. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
