The tenth week again delivered, with a major surprise for the Bills proving the 'any given Sunday' saying that attracts so many people into the NFL

That result could have created opportunities for the Patriots to creep back into a leading position they used to occupy, with a schedule that provides them an advantage over their eight and two rivals

Meanwhile in the NFC the Seattle Seahawks and Rams had perfect results to arrange a monster clash in week 11, while our player of the week is chasing records as well as the Most Valuable Player award

The Breakdown - Just a Bad Day for the Bills?

Josh Allen in action
Was Josh Allen try too much or could it simply have been a poor performance for the Bills?

Was it just an emotional letdown from beating the Chiefs the previous week or a deeper issue? That's the question for the Buffalo team to answer

The Buffalo squad had won seven in a consecutive games against Miami but were second best from the beginning as the Miami team ran out 30-13 victors in an surprising outcome - and display

MVP quarterback Josh Allen only achieved the team's opening first down in the third period and first points in the final quarter - yes Miami had 10 days to get ready but it was nonetheless a massive egg laid by one of the league's best offenses

Dolphins quarterback Tua passed for two scores but rusher Achane was the devastating difference, with 225 combined yards and two touchdowns

Bottling up the NFL's top running game was crucial too, with Cook and teammates recording just 86 yards, their lowest of the season and just over fifty percent their 161.5 yard average

Additionally there were the three critical turnovers, and the pair from Allen specifically. An interception in the end zone resulting in a nine-minute drive produced nothing, and his fourth-quarter fumble that the Dolphins turned into a touchdown just later

It was classic 'old Buffalo' as they hurt themselves in the foot, falling into a hole on defensive side and Josh Allen trying to do too much to rescue his squad out of it - not the composed, disciplined, well-balanced Buffalo team we've seen this season

Miami have served up a varied performances this year so the jury's out on whether this is the start of a trend, but for Buffalo they'll require an instant response in a tough game against Tampa Bay next week as the New England are quietly moving into a comfortable advantage at the summit of the American Football Conference East

Spotlight - New England See Path to Unexpected First Place

Speaking of the Patriots, they're one of three different 8-2 squads in the NFL, all AFC sides, but are they the best?

One could pick holes in New England, Denver and Indianapolis really for dominating the lesser sides, with only five of their combined twenty-four wins coming against opponents with a positive record - and one example was the Colts defeating the Broncos

Denver defeated the reigning champion Eagles in Philadelphia and are kings of the final quarter while Indy can rely on Taylor, but the Patriots adding Sunday's win in Tampa Bay to their prime time win in Buffalo appears to be a declaration

Their two defeats occurred in new head coach Mike Vrabel's initial three contests, with seven consecutive victories, just like the Broncos, since then - but taking down Baker Mayfield after the Buccaneers had a bye to prepare was significant

Drake Maye's Most Valuable Player credentials continue to be discussed, and he certainly earns credit for bravery after taking some savage hits in Tampa but hanging in there to steer his team to victory

The defensive unit is solid and rookie running back Henderson exploded on game day with 147 rushing yards and two exciting touchdowns of 55 and 69 yards - establishing himself as just the fifth ball carrier to break 22 miles per hour this season on his initial touchdown

While you can debate who 'the best' is technically, the Patriots should be favourites to finish with the best record due to their schedule - which features just one game against a successful opponent, albeit a huge one against Buffalo

Traveling to the Ravens is also tough, but Denver have it more difficult in the AFC West with the Kansas City to play twice, the Los Angeles Chargers (who could also challenge for top seed but encounter the same problem) and additionally the Packers on the schedule

The Colts also face the Chiefs, and have the Seahawks, 49ers and two matchups with the five and four Jaguars to face. There is a long way to travel but the door is open for a shock top seed in the American Football Conference

Next Week - Los Angeles and Seattle Prepare for Week 11 Clash

Both squads with strong arguments to be superior to all of the three different eight and two teams are National Football Conference West rivals the Seahawks and Rams, who each put up forty points to go to 7-2 ahead of the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster game between the two in Los Angeles

Both have secured four victories in a row, have signal callers in Matthew Stafford and Darnold performing at an elite level (although Sam Darnold had turnover issues on Sunday) with excellent pass catchers, and defenses giving up under 20 points a game

Each could realistically be undefeated as too - particularly the Los Angeles as their pair of losses came in extra time against the San Francisco and then that painful defeat in Philadelphia when they had a potentially winning kick with the last kick blocked and returned by the Eagles for a touchdown

Seattle were also defeated to San Francisco, with a last-minute score in the opening week, before falling to the final play of the contest against the Tampa Bay - so they're genuinely two of the best sides in the league

The upcoming game on Sunday could be the most exciting of the season to date

Top Performer - Jonathan Taylor
